JSOnline: “Menomonee Falls’ Lee keeps improving”

JSOnline — the online presence of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, has posted a timely article on Penn State 2014 verbal commit 6-1 OH Simone Lee: Menomonee Falls’ Lee keeps improving.  Here’s an excerpt:

Menomonee Falls – It was the first day of practice and there was Simone Lee going through drills as if nothing had happened.  “You jump in there,” she said. “It wasn’t too bad.”  Two days earlier the Menomonee Falls junior volleyball player completed a whirlwind off-season by winning a gold medal for USA Volleyball’s girls youth national team at the NORCECA Continental Championship in Tijuana, Mexico. It was the exclamation point on an off-season that included AAU All-American honors with the Milwaukee Sting, an invitation to USA Volleyball’s high performance camp and a college commitment to national powerhouse Penn State.  This, however, is no time for Lee to rest, even for a moment, on her laurels.
